Iain Miller MBA, PhD

Dr Miller has nearly 25 years of precision medicine and diagnostic sector experience gained in a variety of settings and geographies. He has extensive US market experience (20 years living in Boston), but is currently based in London. He founded Healthcare Strategies Group in 2013 to provide strategic and market access advisory services, together with operational business development and fundraising support, to the Precision Medicine community. Previously, he served with GE Healthcare as Global Head, Personalized Healthcare Strategy and Partnerships and, at IVD leader Biomerieux, was responsible for oncology strategy and business development for the Personalized Medicine Business Unit.

His diverse experience base also includes founding of two medical technology SMEs, leadership roles with two US-based venture-backed genomics companies (Variagenics and US Genomics), and a technology transfer executive role at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. His recent clients also include Philips Healthcare, Abbott Diagnostics, J&J, Myriad Genetics, Oxford Immunotec and the UK Government (InnovateUK), together with various SMEs and investor groups.
