Dr. Kim works as a clinician-educator at the Harborview (HMC) Liver Clinic and at the HMC Madison Clinic. She is the Director of the Madison Hepatitis Coinfection Clinic. She serves as Director of the UW/Fred Hutch Center for AIDS Research Translational Research Subscore and is the Associate Editor for Hepatitis C Online, a CDC-sponsored web-based curriculum. Dr. Kim is the lead investigator for the Liver Disease section of the UW Center for AIDS Research Clinical Cohort & Comorbidity Core. Her research has included work on chronic viral hepatitis, as well as alcohol-related and liver-related outcomes in people living with HIV. Dr. Kim also heads the AID Research Collaboratory (ARC), a Division initiative to foster patient-centered clinical investigation and catalyze quality improvement activities and health services research that leverage the electronic medical record.
