Hussein Ghanem MD

Professor Hussein Ghanem is a Consultant Dermatologist practicing Cosmetic Dermatology for 18 years and is the founder of the Dermahealth clinics in Cairo. He graduated from Cairo University, Faculty of Medicine 1982. He later obtained a Masters's degree in Dermatology in 1986 and was awarded the Zawahry Honorary Award for the highest academic achievement. Dr. Ghanem obtained the American Board certification in cosmetic laser procedures as well as the National Institute of laser sciences certification. 

Dr. Ghanem also obtained a Diploma in General Surgery in 1989, at Cairo University and received microsurgical training in 1989 at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas. He also received a Doctorate Degree in Andrology, Sexology & STDs from Cairo University where he currently serves as Department Chairman. 

Dr. Ghanem's publications include over 50 research articles & book chapters in international medical journals, including the Lancet. He developed the safe, accurate & reproducible injection ‘Geometric technique for Botox’. It was presented in Paris in the international Master's Course on Aging Skin 2011 & Published in 2016 in the Journal of Dermatology Research and Therapy.
