Humaid Al-shamsi MD, MRCP(UK), FRCPC, FRCP

Dr. Alshamsi completed his medical degree with honors from the University College Cork in Ireland, he completed internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship training at McMaster University in Canada. He also completed a fellowship in GI Oncology at McMaster University in 2013. He was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of GI Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas from June 2014 until Dec 2016. He currently practices general oncology at Zayed hospital in Abu Dhabi – UAE and holds an associate professor position at Sharjah University. Dr. Alshamsi has extensive clinical and research experience in GI malignancies.
