Hua Xiao PhD

Hua Xiao is a professor of biology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Supported by the Recruitment Program of Global Youth Experts of China as well as NSFC, Young Scientist Program of MOST, Dr. Xiao’s group is mainly focused on Cancer Proteomics and Translational Medicine. Dr. Xiao authored 60+ papers that published in international academic journals with 1000+ citations. He filed 17 China/US patents with 12 granted. He serves as a reviewer for more than 30 international academic journals. Current Research Interests: (i) Technology innovation for non-invasive cancer molecular diagnostics; (ii) Novel methods development for bioseparation and bioanalysis (proteins, cells, microbial); (iii) Proteome research of extracellular vesicles and subcellular fractions (metastasis, multidrug resistance).
