Howard J. A. Carp MBBS, FRCOG

Howard J. A. Carp studied medicine at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School in London, UK. He completed his training for Membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG) in the UK. He has since worked at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, Israel, and held a Senior Lecturer post in Embryology at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is now a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tel Aviv University, and an honorary clinical professor at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Professor Carp has many clinical interests, including ectopic pregnancy, implantation, and infertility, and has a special interest in recurrent miscarriage and pregnancy loss. Professor Carp has published more than 80 original research articles, 33 review articles, and twelve book chapters, and has been invited to lecture in many parts of the world. He has also edited four books: Recurrent Pregnancy Loss: Causes, Controversies, and Treatment (1st and 2nd editions), The Infertility Manual, Principles and Practice of Assisted Reproductive Technology and Progestogens in Obstetric and Gynecological Practice.
