Howard A. Grossman, MD, is an internist specializing in primary care, HIV medicine, and LGBT health. Dr. Grossman trained at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency at Kings County Hospital, where he treated some of the nation’s first AIDS patients. He has held faculty roles at NYU-Langone Medical Center and Florida Atlantic University and advised the CDC, FDA, and National Institutes of Health.
He’s also a powerful advocate for end-of-life care rights, a prolific writer, and a longtime supporter of harm reduction and HIV prevention strategies at the community level.
Dr. Grossman moved to Florida in 2016 to work with the Cleveland Clinic Florida in their West Palm Beach clinic. Dr. Grossman is an attending physician at Holy Cross Hospital and Broward Health Medical Center and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Grossman’s leadership marks a bold step forward for Spectrum Medical and for healthcare in Phoenix.
