Hossein Masoomi MD

Dr. Hossein Masoomi was born in Tehran, Iran. He completed medical school in Iran followed by a general surgery residency at Tehran University, where he met my wife and we both decided to come to the United States to continue our medical training and higher education. He started with a research fellowship at the UC Irvine Department of Surgery followed by a general surgery residency at UC Irvine. Then, he moved to Houston where he completed a plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas followed by a reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. After spending over a decade in surgical training, he is currently one of the reconstructive microsurgeons at Kaiser Permanente’s South Bay Medical Center.
