Dr. Dong's research follows three major directions (1) understanding the neural circuits and molecular mechanisms that regulate neuroendocrine responses underlying psychological stress; (2) peri-puberty development of the neural circuits associated with sexual behavior; (3) reconstruction of three-dimensional computer graphic mouse brain atlas and neuro-informatics-based database particularly those involving the cataloguing of anatomic information.
