Holly R. WyattMD
Holly R Wyatt, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes, at the University of Colorado and Denver Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, her Medical Doctorate from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Wyatt currently is a Physician and Clinical Researcher at the Center for Human Nutrition. She also runs the Metabolism and Obesity clinic at the University of Colorado and Denver Health Science Center.
Dr. Wyatt is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She has been the National Program Director for the Centers for Obesity Research and Education (CORE) since 1999. She has received both a National Service Research Award and a Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health to study energy metabolism and metabolic factors associated with weight loss in reduced-obese subjects. Dr. Wyatt has also served as the Medical Director of the community-based weight-management program "The Colorado Weigh."
