Hollie Schmidt, VP of Scientific Operations for Accelerated Cure Project, is an accomplished executive who has led and developed multiple successful for- and non-profit organizations. A Mass High Tech "Women to Watch" awardee, she has served on the global board of the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Lemelson-MIT “Cure-It” screening panel, the governing board of the MS Coalition, and the institutional review board (IRB) of Harvard teaching hospital Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Prior to her current position, she held executive management and senior staff positions at Empirix, Teradyne and United Technologies.

Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis is an innovative and award-winning patient advocacy organization that works with researchers, clinicians and patients to accelerate research toward a cure. Leading its groundbreaking scientific efforts from the beginning, Ms. Schmidt has overseen its success at harnessing expertise, vision and collaboration to advance the state of MS research and treatment. Prior to her role with ACP, she co-founded and was President of Lifting Mind, a management consultancy formed to bring entrepreneurial organizational approaches to high-tech clients in networking, IT, software, semiconductors and e-business; drove the creation of the Empirix brand as it was spun out of Teradyne; and co-founded two networking start-ups, one of which was acquired by Teradyne at a 10x valuation.
