Dr. Holli Neiman-Hart is an Associate Professor and Residency Program Director at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine. After high school, she obtained a BSN from Wright State University and worked at Franciscan Medical Center in Dayton, OH, in oncology, neurological/medical ICU, and cardiac care. Education was always a passion and she became certified in critical care nursing and taught critical care classes and Basic Life Support. Medical school had always been a dream, so after several years of nursing, she attended Boonshoft Wright State University and after graduation became a family medicine resident at Franciscan Medical Center. After three years in private practice, she became faculty at Wright State University and worked with the family medicine residency where she had trained. Upon the closing of the hospital and residency program, she moved to Flower Hospital Family Medicine Residency and rebuilt the OB program for the residents. In 2010, a move to Morgantown, WV, offered a new challenge as residency director at West Virginia University Family Medicine Residency, where the board pass rate for graduates improved from 86% to 100% over a five-year rolling average.

Since August 2016, she has been developing a new family medicine residency sponsored by Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine and using previously non-teaching clinical sites at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital and Grace Health, a local FQHC. The first class of residents is expected to start in July 2019. During her career, she has maintained an active clinical practice that includes obstetrics, inpatient care, nursing home care, home visits and many procedures. She remains passionate about teaching and one of the prime goals of the new residency is to expose residents to the full breadth of family medicine so they can feel comfortable making choices in practice to best serve any community they wish.
