Hodan Hussein Jamaa BSN

Hodan completed her BSN degree at Fatima College of Health Sciences, Al Ain, UAE, 2009-1012 and Griffith University, Queensland, Australia, 2009-2011. She worked as Senior Staff Nurse in Al Ain hospital for 16 years ,Initially in-patient wards for the Medical Institute .Then moved to the outpatient department .On 2016 hospital establish the infusion clinic for administration immunosuppressive drugs. She Joined rheumatology team as Infusion Nurse on 2017. During this time she is an active member in the team, she participate in reviewing the protocols for infusion drugs (e.g. immunosuppressive drugs, intravenous immunoglobulin, iron, intravenous anti-osteoporosis drugs) Lead a new rheumatology Nurse Education Clinic which is the first clinic in the UAE. Participate in staff awareness campaign for the preparation for Rheumatology Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) as part of JCIA accreditation for Rheumatology. Hodan also acting as clinical resource nurse (CRN) in outpatient department mentoring the new staff and conducting educational program.
