Hitesh Patel PharmD

Hitesh Patel, PharmD, is a dedicated pharmacist and healthcare executive with a strong commitment to community-focused care. Since becoming co-owner of Rapps Pharmacy Group in 2014, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s reach and enhancing its services across New Jersey.

In 2019, Dr. Patel spearheaded the establishment of Rapps LTC Pharmacy in Middlesex, NJ, a closed-door long-term care facility that provides specialized pharmaceutical services to various healthcare institutions, including group homes, addiction recovery centers, and mental health organizations. Under his leadership, Rapps Pharmacy Group now encompasses three distinct locations. As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Patel oversees the operations of all three pharmacies, ensuring they deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. He has been instrumental in integrating advanced technologies to streamline operations and increase compliance for organizations throughout the state.

Dr. Patel’s contributions to the community have been recognized through several honors, including being named the 2021 Corporate Citizen of the Year by Catholic Charities of Trenton. He also received a Letter of Commendation from Task Force Liberty, acknowledging his commitment to service and excellence in the field of pharmacy.
