Hisham Ziglam MSc, MRCP, FRCP, MD

Dr. Hisham is a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Hamad General Hospital in Qatar and a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tripoli. He is currently the antimicrobial stewardship lead at Hamad Medical Corporation.

Dr. Hisham received his M.B and Ch.B. (MD) from Tripoli Medical University at Tripoli in Libya. He finished his training in Internal Medicine at Nottingham in Dundee and became a Consultant in Manchester in the UK. Dr. Hisham has extensive experience in medical education, teaching postgraduate residents and fellows as well as undergraduate medical students. He was an examiner for the MRCP PACES exam in the UK and served as an official Arab board and Libyan board examiner for internal medicine.
