Hiroyuki Kinouchi, M.D., Ph.D. is currently Professor and Chairman, Department of Neurosurgery, University of
Yamanashi, Japan. He graduated from Tohoku University Postgraduate School of Medicine (Sendai) in 1987, and has been working in the Neurosurgery Department until 1997. While there, he contributed in Brain’93 as a member of local organizing committee.
