Himalee Abeya MBBS, MD, FRANZCP

Dr Abeya provides clinical leadership at She is a Psychiatrist with MBBS (Hons), FRANZCP and MD (Psych) qualifications. Dr Abeya excelled academically, winning gold medals in both her MBBS and MD examinations. She has also worked as a lecturer in psychiatry, shortly after completing her medical studies and pursued a career in academia along with her clinical work at the time. She has tutored medical students at the Northern Medical School, University of Sydney.

Her experience is wide and varied. Dr Abeya has previously worked in the public sector as a staff specialist psychiatrist- with the Northern Sydney Area Health Service and as a VMO Psychiatrist at Cumberland Westmead hospital. Dr Abeya was the Senior Psychiatrist for NSW and ACT at Medibank Health Solutions. This role involved teaching ,as well as taking a leadership role within the organization.
