Dr. Hillary W. Garner, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, specializing in musculoskeletal radiology and breast imaging. She has extensive expertise in the imaging and diagnosis of sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and image-guided breast interventions, providing advanced diagnostic care for a wide range of orthopedic and breast conditions.

Dr. Garner earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Basic Biological and Medical Sciences and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida. She completed a transitional internship, diagnostic radiology residency, and fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, where she has remained on faculty.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Garner is an accomplished educator and researcher. She has held numerous leadership roles within Mayo Clinic and national radiology organizations, including the Association of Program Directors in Radiology, the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. Her work focuses on musculoskeletal imaging, sports injury imaging, radiology education, and the integration of artificial intelligence into musculoskeletal radiology.

Dr. Garner has received numerous honors throughout her career, including recognition as Department of Radiology Researcher of the Year, Fellowship in the American College of Radiology (FACR), multiple RSNA Certificate of Merit and Award of Merit distinctions, and several Mayo Clinic Above and Beyond Awards for excellence, teamwork, and compassion. She continues to contribute extensively to radiology research, medical education, and the advancement of musculoskeletal imaging through scholarly publications, national committee service, and professional leadership.
