Hideki Ueno MD, PhD

Hideki Ueno, MD, Ph.D., is a colorectal surgeon and has been a professor at National Defense Medical College, Japan, since 2016. He is currently the chairperson of the Japanese Classification of Colorectal Carcinoma revision committee and a member of the JSCCR (Japanese Society for Cancer of the Colon and Rectum) Guidelines committee. Dr Ueno has been involved in some international collaborations, including the T-REX study, the International Prospective Observation Cohort Study for Optimal Bowel Resection Extent, and Central Radicality for Colon Cancer.
