Hernan Morales PhD

Hernan G. Morales is currently working as a Researcher at Dassault Systèmes. He has a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and my passion is to develop digital twins of humans as a means to improve our living by bringing a complete understanding of human physiology. He has developed several numerical models of the cardiovascular system, such as blood flow, cardiac chambers,s, and valves. The goal of those models was to create ground truth data for testing image-based solutions, unveil the hidden physics of the studied systems, and bring the predictive capabilities of the biophysical models. Moreover, thanks to his position in multi-disciplinary teams (AI, image processing, clinical-oriented solutions), he has a deep understanding of how biophysics can be integrated with clinical data and image-based tools.
