Dr. Henry L. Lew, MD, PhD, CCC-A, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (2010-present) in the John A. Burns School of Medicine. He is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), as well as a certified audiologist. He completed his PM&R residency training and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington (2000).

Dr. Lew served as Clinical Assistant Professor of PM&R at Stanford University School of Medicine (2000-2008), Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (2009-2010), currently appointed as Adjunct Professor in the Department of PM&R at Virginia Commonwealth University (2010-present), as well as Rehabilitation Consultant for the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center. He also holds Visiting Professor Appointments with three major medical universities in Taiwan and China, where he conducts collaborative clinical and research projects in TBI and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
