Henriette Pilegaard

Henriette Pilegaard is currently a professor in the Section of Cell Biology and Physiology, Department of Biology, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her group uses especially human experiments and mice models to examine the impact of metabolic challenges like exercise on metabolic regulation in skeletal muscle, liver, and adipose tissue. This includes the effect of acute exercise on metabolic flexibility and exercise training-induced metabolic adaptations.
