Helena Teede MBBS, FRACP, PhD

Professor Helena Teede is Executive Director of Monash Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. She led the establishment and currently chairs the Australian Health Research Alliance across the Advanced Health Research Translation Centres. She is the Director of the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, School of Public Health, Monash University. She is an Endocrinologist at Monash Health and an NHMRC Practitioner Fellow. Professor Teede has held leadership roles in health care, research, translation, policy settings, and with the not-for-profit sector. She sits on the National Health and Medical Research Centre (NHMRC) Research Committee, is a member of the Academy of Health and Medical Research.

Professor Teede is passionate about partnership and stakeholder engagement and about research informed health care improvement. She has developed and led Women in Medicine and Women in Leadership programs to engage and support women to advance their careers.
