Helen is the Intervention Dissemination Specialist for the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences and Oregon Healthy Workforce Center. Her role is to translate research into practice. She is the link between scientists and potential adopters of occupational safety, health and well-being toolkits and tools. Helen works closely with the center directors and manager on strategic planning for the adaption and dissemination of interventions and toolkits, as well as on the creation and distribution of dissemination promotional materials. She works with OHSU's Tech Transfer to prepare the Center's products for commercial or non-commercial dissemination for the center.

Helen received an Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health where she focused her studies on community health and health disparities. She received a BS in Radio, Television and Film from The University of Texas at Austin, College of Communications. Prior to joining OHSU in the Spring of 2017, Helen has worked in industries and roles ranging from advertising, marketing, fitness, health communications, and film. She is passionate about helping workplaces improve their safety, health and well-being through environmental and organizational change, and effective communication methods.
