Helen Darwin BSc, CCRP

Helen Darwin, BSc, is President of Darwin Site Management Services Limited (DSMS), a clinical research consulting corporation based in Canada. Helen has 20 years experience in clinical research, working currently as an independent monitor and trainer both in Canada and the US. Prior to establishing her own business, she worked for 7 years for Johnson & Johnson as a senior site manager. Before joining J&J, she was employed as a CRA for several international contract research organizations. She started her research career as a study coordinator working primarily in the area of Phase 1 to 4 oncology trials. Helen has been involved with SoCRA since its inception and was the first Canadian member. She was elected to the board of directors in 1995 and was Chair of the Certification Committee from 1996 to 1998 and again from 1999 to 2000. Since that time, she served on the Board as a Director and as President of the Society.
