Heiko Lier MD

Dr medical Heiko Lier has been employed at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Operative Intensive Care Medicine at the University Hospital in Cologne since 2006. Before that, he worked for 12 years in the clinic for anesthesiology and surgical intensive care medicine at the University of Bonn and before that for 14 months at the Paracelsus Clinic in Bad Ems. He has been a specialist in anesthesiology since 1998, a senior physician since 2000 and has been involved in clinical haemostaseology since 1996. As a co-author of the coagulation chapter in particular, he was involved in the development of several guidelines (polytrauma/severely injured care, peripartum hemorrhage). Dr. Lier was born in 1965, is married, and lives in Bonn.
