Heidi Northover MBChB, MRCP, FRCPCH, DROG, DCH

Dr Heidi Northover was a Consultant General Pediatrician at the Royal Bolton Hospital for almost 20 years, until late 2015, where she developed a special interest in pediatric allergy. She recently spent some time working in the tertiary allergy service at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology. In addition she has extensive experience in medical education and assessment. She has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, specialist nurses and dieticians on the national Dietetics Masters program, on various aspects of pediatric medicine, including allergy. She also works two days per week at the University of Manchester Medical School in undergraduate education, and two days per week for the General Medical Council as a Case Examiner in the Fitness to Practice directorate.
