Hege Russness MD, PhD

Dr. Russnes is a Pathologist trained in both surgical and molecular pathology. She is a research group leader in Genomic alterations in breast cancer, she has a particular research interest in molecular classifications and in providing clinical trials with molecular diagnostics. Coordinating the "Infrastructure for precision diagnostics - cancer" (InPreD) providing a state-of-the-art molecular diagnostic pipeline for clinical cancer trials. The Russnes research group also focuses on intratumor heterogeneity and tumor evolution working with both single-cell analyses and liquid biopsies.
