Heath A. Walden is a Chief of Acute Care Surgery at the Danbury Hospital and Nuance Health System. He is board-certified in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the Georgetown University School Of Medicine. He believes that trauma and acute care surgery is a team sport. It is not one physician that saves you, but rather a collaborative team of doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses, PCTs, physical therapists, and case managers that lead to excellent outcomes.
