H. C. Uwe Heemann MD

Dr. Uwe Heemann is a prominent Nephrologist. He is the Chairman of the Eurotransplant Kidney Advisory Committee. He completed his Study of Medicine at the Ruhr University Bochum in 1986, and a Doctorate from St. Johannisstift Paderborn in 1989. He has a keen interest in areas such as kidney stone diseases, kidney transplants, diagnosis & treatment of kidney diseases such as chronic kidney disease, acute renal failure, glomerular nephritis, polycystic kidney diseases, rare kidney diseases, etc. Dr. Heemann has written various publications in peer-reviewed journals on autoimmune diseases of the kidney and more.
