Hazem Beyrouti MD, PhD, MHBA

Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Hazem El Beyrouti recently took over the position of Director of the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and the management of the Vascular Center (DGG) at the Pius Hospital. With his extensive experience and outstanding expertise in vascular surgery, he is creating new treatment options in the region.

Dr. El Beyrouti previously worked in Rhineland-Palatinate, where he held senior positions at the Mainz University Medical Center for ten years - most recently as head of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Section in the Clinic and Polyclinic for Cardiac and Vascular Surgery. The Lebanese-born doctor completed his medical training at the Crimean State Medical University and the University of Damascus. In 2009, his further training took him to Germany. Here he obtained specialist qualifications - in both cardiac surgery and vascular surgery - and acquired extensive surgical expertise as well as a wide range of additional qualifications.
