Hazel J. Vernon MD, FAAP

Dr. Hazel Vernon received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and was the first practicing dermatologist in Central Virginia to earn pediatric dermatology board certification status. She was recognized by her peers as a Top Doc in Dermatology for 2006 by Richmond Magazine. Dr. Vernon maintains her edge in the field by regularly providing training to residents from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine’s Department of Dermatology and giving lectures on pediatric dermatology regional and national conferences. Current board certifications include the American Board of Dermatology for general dermatology and pediatric dermatology.
