Hazel Gunter

Hazel was appointed as Director of Workforce in January 2013 following 18 months as Acting Director of HR. She is responsible for the development and delivery of the Trust’s Workforce Strategy ensuring that the organisation delivers for our patients through our productive workforce.

As the Executive lead for Learning and Development, Hazel also oversees the Trust’s ‘Learn & Lead’ Strategy delivered through the HEFT Faculty of Education. Hazel joined the Trust in 2007 and has held a number of senior HR roles prior to her appointment as an Executive Director.

Hazel has in excess of 20 years experience operating at senior management and executive level positions within healthcare, spanning private, not for profit and public sector organisations.
