Hazel A. Dennison DNP, RN, FNP-BC, CPHQ, CNE

Dr. Hazel Dennison has more than 25 years of continuing education experience, in a wide variety of positions including chair of an approver board, planning activities for medical and nursing associations, and Medicare subsidiaries.

Her clinical background includes extensive nephrology expertise as a nursing administrator, family nurse practitioner, Director of Education Services, and Quality Improvement Director for Medicare. Dr. Dennison has taught at Walden University since 2010 in the RN to BSN program as Core Faculty and served as the Director of Continuing Nursing Education and the Director of Health Information Management Continuing Education. She is currently contributing faculty in the BSN program and is Associate Director of Accreditation and Compliance for Medscape LLC.
