Prof. Dr. Hartmut Bertz is Senior Physician and Section Director of the Department of Hematology / Oncology / Stem Cell Transplantation of the University Hospital Freiburg. After a broad internist training from 1990 specialized in hematologists/oncologists with the current focus on allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation, gastrointestinal tumours and the entire supportive therapy (sports, nutrition, infections, antiemesis) including palliative care of the patients.
