Harry L. Winfield MD

Harry L. Winfield, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Winfield has extensive professional experience with an impressive academic background. Dr. Winfield graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Oregon State University in Corvallis. He received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in Illinois, graduating with Pathology, Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, and Psychiatry Clerkship Honors. His postgraduate training was largely completed at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, starting with a clinical research fellowship, and subsequently an internal medicine internship and residency, and a three-year dermatology residency.

He later completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Throughout much of his academic career, and into his professional career, Dr. Winfield frequently presented lectures to dermatology and internal medicine students and residents, as well as several national and international society meetings. He has worked concurrently for Cleveland Skin Pathology and MetroHealth Medical Center since 2006; for the latter, he has been the Program Director of the Department of Dermatology since 2012. Dr. Winfield belongs to five professional medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the International Society of Dermatopathology. He holds full medical licensure in the states of New Jersey, Ohio and West Virginia. He is board certified in dermatopathology and dermatology.
