Harry Hothi BEng, MSc, PhD

Dr Harry Hothi is an orthopaedic engineer with a background in mechanical (BEng) and biomedical (MSc, PhD) engineering. He is a director of the London Implant Retrieval Centre (LIRC), based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), Stanmore, London, UK.

He leads and supports key research projects related to the retrieval analysis of failed hip, knee and spine implants which have led to: (1) 45 papers, published or in press, (2) over 80 acceptances of abstracts to leading international conferences and (3) collaboration with over 70 co-authors including surgeons, engineers, scientists, statisticians and students from Germany, USA, Canada, Finland, Australia, China, Switzerland and across the UK.
