Dr. Harikrishann Narayanan Unni completed his Ph.D. from NTU Singapore in 2006, in the field of Microfluidics. He worked as a postdoc at NTU and NUS Singapore where he focused on the design and development of microfluidic devices for Dielectrophoretic trapping and concentration of biological cells. He joined IIT Hyderabad in 2012 and has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He founded the Biomicrofluidics (BML) Lab at IIT Hyderabad, which focuses on the design and development of EWOD (Electrowetting on Dielectric) droplet microfluidic platforms, muPAD devices, and Biomimicking microfluidic interfaces.
