Dr. Venkatramani is Consultant, Plastic Surgery and Trauma Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Plastic, Hand and Reconstructive Micro Surgery, Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India. He received his Medical Degree from the B J Medical College Ahmedabad and did his General Surgery Residency at B J Medical College Ahmedabad. He did his plastic surgery residency at Grant Medical College in Mumbai. Best Paper Prize - Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, Kochin, 2016 for the paper titled “ Functioning Muscle Transfer following major replantation and revascularization in the upper limb. Dr. NH Antia Prize of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India for the Best Paper published by its member in an indexed international journal in the year 2009 (Functional outcome following Restoration of elbow flexion and shoulder function in upper Brachial Plexus Avulsion Injuries). Published in Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury. IPRAS International Traveling fellowship of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, 2006. Visited National University Hospital Singapore. President’s Peet Prize – Annual Association of Plastic Surgeons of India New Delhi Nov 2005, for Technical consideration and functional outcome of Replantation and Revascularization of Transmetacarpal Crush Amputation.
