Haresh Mulchandani is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Homerton University Hospital since 2010 in the wild east of London (Hackney to be more precise), where he leads for Orthopaedics & Trauma. He qualified from the University of Birmingham, followed by house jobs, emergency medicine (back when it was called A+E), and basic anesthetic training in the West Midlands. He decided at this point to return to the big smoke, and my specialist registrar training was on the Royal Free / UCLH rotation. This was followed by a very rewarding stint working for Medecins Sans Frontieres.
Haresh Mulchandani completed a fellowship in Medical Simulation at Barts and the London in 2008 and teaches simulation courses across all levels, specialties, and disciplines. He facilitates Train the Trainers courses and runs a STELI-funded Faculty Development Day at the Homerton suitable for anyone who wants to get started in Medical Simulation.
Haresh Mulchandani's interest in Ultrasound & Regional Anaesthesia comes from completing a fellowship in Toronto under Dr. Colin McCartney at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Whilst in Canada and since returning, he regularly teaches Ultrasound Courses. He is very happy to be part of the LSORA fold, helping drive Ultrasound & Regional Anaesthesia forward in London and beyond, matching the best out there in the world.
