Harendra De Silva is an Emeritus Professor at the Department of Paediatrics, University of Colombo. Was awarded the National Award of Vidyajothi in 2017 for scientific achievements. Harendra does research in Pediatrics, International Security and Arms Control, and International Relations. Their current project is 'Dengue transmission in the microenvironment, mathematical modeling in dengue transmission, non-absorbabable carbohydrates in rice.
