Harald Petry PhD

Harald Petry, PhD 3 Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Petry joined uniQure’s predecessor company AMT in May 2007 as Director of Research and Development. He has worked in the area of gene therapy for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in pharmaceutical research. After his PhD, he built up a career in academic research and subsequently in the international biopharmaceutical industry. For the last 10 years, in addition to uniQure, he has worked at Jenapharm GmbH (Germany), and Berlex Biosciences (US) in different functions with increasing managerial and leadership responsibility.
