Harald Kaemmerer MD, VD

Harald Kaemmerer first studied veterinary medicine and, after completing his doctorate as a veterinarian, began his medical studies at the Hannover Medical School. After his doctorate in medicine and specialist training as an internist, specialist training as a cardiologist followed. The doctor, who specializes in adults with congenital heart defects, has been a senior physician at the Clinic for Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Defects at the German Heart Center in Munich since 2000. Harald Kaemmerer is a member of the DGK as well as the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the Association for European Pediatric Cardiology (AEPC), and the International Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ISACHD). Harald Kaemmerer belonged to the task force for guidelines for adults with congenital heart defects of the German cardiological societies DGK.
