Hans Timmerman PhD

Hans Timmerman studied physiotherapy in Nijmegen (1986-1990) and physiotherapy science at Utrecht University (2003-2007). He did his Ph.D. research at the department of anaesthesiology, pain, and palliative medicine at the Radboudumc in Nijmegen. Since June 2019 he is working as a postdoc researcher at the University Medical Center Groningen at the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain Center. In this role, he mainly focuses on research into pain, the sensory and motor manifestations of pain, central and peripheral sensitization, and objective pain measurements.
