Currently, Hang Fai (Henry) KWOK holds the position of Associate Professor and also the Histopathology Core consultant in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Macau. He is also the visiting scientist in the CRUK Cambridge Institute University of Cambridge. Henry obtained his 1st class BSc (Hons) degree and PhD in Biomedical Sciences in the UK in 2003. He then awarded a Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Fellow as a post-doctoral researcher in the UK No. 1 Pharmacy School at the Queen’s University Belfast.

After 4 years of the postdoctoral training, he moved to the pharmaceutical industry as a senior scientist from 2007 to 2011, then returned to academia as a senior research fellow in the Department of Oncology University of Cambridge, working with Prof Gillian Murphy at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute & Prof John McCafferty at the Department of Biochemistry University of Cambridge, bringing together his interests in protease biochemistry research with biologics development to pursue novel therapeutic and prognostic approaches in the treatment of cancer.
