Haneen Njoum PhD

Haneen Njoumarrived in London as an OliveTree scholar (2008) and was awarded her B.Eng. degree in Biomedical Engineering at City University London in 2011. She then was granted a City Doctoral Studentship to pursue her Ph.D. position at the Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering. Her project involved in vivo and in vitro investigations of Photoplethysmography in vascular mechanics, hemodynamics, and hemorheology for cardiovascular assessment. Her research interests include light interaction with biological tissues, fluid dynamics, bioimpedance, bioinformatics, microscopy, and hemorheology in health and disease.
