Hamed Al Sinawi MD, FRCPsych

Dr. Hamed Al Sinawi is a senior consultant old age psychiatrist at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat and the chairman and founder of Oman Alzheimer’s Society. He completed his residency and higher psychiatry training in London and establish a memory clinic in Oman in 2011. Along with his clinical work, Dr. Al Sinawi is a trainer for the Residents at the Omani board of psychiatry and Research supervises for residents and medical students. His research interests are in the area of geriatric psychiatry, mental health stigma and medical education. He also conducts regular health education campaigns in dementia to the general public and health care professionals.
