Halyna Lugova MD, PhD, MPH

Halyna Lugova's area of research interest has been focused on infectious diseases, social networks, health, international public health, and disaster management. Her current research activities are aimed at health behavior and health communication in domestic and international contexts. Considering the exponential increase of dengue infection in Malaysia over the last few years, She has worked on behavioral aspects of this infection and suggested strategies to cultivate targeted prevention and control activities. She has also worked on research in medical education analyzing student perception towards different methods of instruction and studying the use of movies in teaching psychosocial aspects.
