Dr. Gyun Min Lee is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at KAIST. His research interests (http://bs.kaist.ac.kr/~acelab/) are therapeutic protein production from Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell culture, CHO cell engineering, and proteomics. Dr. Lee received his B.S degree and M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at Seoul National University and Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He joined KAIST in 1991. He has co-authored close to 200 research articles and more than 10 patents. He is currently serving as an editorial board member for major biotechnology journals. He has served as an industrial consultant and collaborator to numerous biotechnology companies on CHO cell culture engineering for therapeutic protein production.
