Gy Yatros DMD, DABDSM

Dr. Gy Yatros has been practicing dental sleep medicine for over 20 years and is a well-respected key opinion leading international lecturer in the area of sleep-disordered breathing and dental sleep medicine. Over 10 years ago he was Florida’s first west coast dentist to become board certified in sleep by the ABDSM. Dr. Yatros has helped thousands of patients with snoring and sleep apnea through dental sleep therapy.

Dr. Yatros is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM), a past president of the Manatee Dental Society and is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine with the University of South Florida, College of Medicine.

Dr. Yatros is a key opinion and industry leader in dental sleep medicine. He is the founder and CEO of several national industry leading corporations, publications and organizations including Dental Sleep Solutions, Four Pillar Billing, Dental Sleep Medicine Insider Magazine, DS3 Dental Sleep Software and the North American Dental Sleep Medicine Symposium. Dr. Yatros has a passion for helping OSA patients live better and live longer through his expert patient care as well as by helping thousands of other dental office team members to provide these valuable and needed services for their patients.

Dr. Yatros graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1989 as the youngest dentist in the school’s history. Since 1990 he has called the West Coast of Florida his home. He lives on Anna Maria Island with his wife Maria, their son Nicholas and their dog Havana.
